Through this sculpture I explore the significance of the baobab tree from Senegal also referred to as the upside down tree, which are tall trees that believed to have a powerful spiritual force. In Senegal, the baobab tree holds cultural significance and is seen as a symbol of strength, endurance, and resilience.
